SUBSTANCE: device reducing hydraulic losses in the pipeline comprises a helical spring arranged inside the pipeline, the spring outer diameter being equal to the pipeline inner diameter and the spring coil lead defined by the expression where λ is the lead of coil, m; V the liquid velocity, m/s; D is the pipeline inner diameter, m; g=9,81 is the acceleration of gravity, m/s2. In compliance with the proposed invention, the helical spring is made from a pipe the outer surface of which has the holes arranged at a distance equal to ¼ of the lead of coil so that their axis gets aligned with the direction of liquid flow in the pipeline.
EFFECT: reduction of hydraulic losses in the pipeline.
