FIELD: valving.

SUBSTANCE: plug valve has housing provided with through and central openings and conical seat, conical plug provided with the cylindrical segments, seals and driving shaft, rolling bearing, nut, and handwheel. The smaller base of the outer side of the conical plug is provided the conical groove. The conical groove receives the insert. The insert is made of a bell provided with the cylindrical head and three pillars. The head abuts against the smaller base of the conical plug. Some ends of the pillars are rigidly secured to the cylindrical head. The free ends of the pillars, which face the larger base, are set into the key grooves. The grooves are provided in the conical plug in the part which is adjacent to the conical groove. The inner conical side of the pillars embraces the side of the conical groove. The outer side engages the side of the seat. The conical plug is provided with a three-dimensional seal. The seals are set into the ring bore and made of convex frames made of a self-sealed collars. The longitudinal sections of the collars are secured to the pillars of the insert and form ring spaces together with the conical seat and plug. The vertical plane which passes through one of the points of the insert is symmetrical to the other ones. The outer side of the top cylindrical section of the conical plug is provided with sector groove. The pin is secured into the housing and engages the groove by its projecting part.
