FIELD: hydraulic actuators, designed to facilitate the change-over of the cock with a turning plug having a saddle-shaped surface in the form of a surface of a body of revolution. SUBSTANCE: cock has a body with a central cavity and round inlet and outlet ports coaxially arranged in it. The shut-off member has a plug with the central through opening aligned with the inlet and outlet ports, clamping saddles with through openings and sealing surface of the body of revolution and sealing members, for example, O-shaped rings for sealing of the through openings, between the saddles and the body. The shut-off member is positioned in the central cavity perpendicularly to the axis of the mentioned openings. The cock has a drive handle of the shut-off member and a clamp threaded bit for closing the structural system of the cock working members. The shut-off member plug is made with a tapered working surface and an internal cavity accommodating the balancing valve. Ducts are made in the plug, clamping saddles and balancing valve for communication of the end surfaces of the clamping saddles with the inlet and outlet ports of the cock body. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of cock change-over under pressure, reduced loss of time for adjustment of tightening of the shut-off member before and after each opening and closing, considerably expanded zone of adjustment of the flow of working medium, thus enhanced efficiency of cock operation on the whole. 6 cl, 8 dwg
