FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: joint has flange provided with spherical surface, flange with conical surface, metal spacer interposed between the mated surfaces of the flanges, and tightening bolts. The metallic spacer is made of fine-grained granular nickel alloy. The angular shift of the flanges with respect to each other is provided due to the axial space between the faces of the flanges and radial spaces between the openings provided in the flanges and bolts. The joint is partially unloaded from radial forces due to the spherical surface of one of the flanges.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
