FIELD: mechanical engineering; connection of pipes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connecting members of pipeline allowing angular misalignments. Flange is made in form of flat member provided with straight-line side end face with semiround through slots to freely half-enclose pipes to be connected with clearance. Two bolt holes are located on relatively perpendicular lines passing through centers of bolt holes and center of semiround slot. Axis of symmetry of bolt holes coincides with axis of symmetry of slot, and support surface of flange is provided with at least one stop to form clearance between flanges over periphery. Connection of pipes includes flanges thrusting against beads on pipe ends, ring elastic gasket between and clamping bolts. Two flanges are installed on each end of pipe, and axis of symmetry of semiround slots of two flanges on end of one pipe is square to axis of symmetry of semiround slots of two flanges on end of other pipe.

EFFECT: simplified flange connection, improved technological parameters of flanges, improved reliability of connection.
