FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine area, namely to ophthalmology. The method is characterised by that in the preoperative period, the biochemical indicators of tear, that is quantity of interfaced ketotiens (IKT), Schiff bases (SB), acetylformic acid (AFA) and activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) are analysed. The obtained data is represented in the form of prognostic factor which is calculated according the formula: K=0,.00319*X1+2.41398*X2+1.23560*X3-6.82419*X4-0.79430 where known numerical value are constants, X1 is LDH concentration in a plaintive liquid, X2 is IKT concentration in a plaintive liquid, X3 is AFA concentration in a plaintive liquid, X4 is SB concentration in a plaintive liquid and, if value of this indicator is above 0.5 - choroidocyclitical amotio develops in the postoperative period; if this indicator is less than 0.5 - the disease does not develop.

EFFECT: provides high informativeness and reliability.
