FIELD: thermal investigations on electrically heated facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel assembly designed for investigating temperature conditions of nuclear reactor fuel elements in various emergency situations has body, pressurizing assemblies, external and internal current leads disposed, respectively, outside and inside can with fuel element simulators placed in-between, incorporating internal electrodes and cans separated by electric insulator from internal electrodes on one end and electrically interconnected at common point on other end, electrically connected through internal electrodes to external current lead and through common points, to internal current lead. Common points are connected in series through cans to internal current lead.
EFFECT: provision for free space above simulators.
