FIELD: batteries provided with built-in regulators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed battery has built-in regulator that functions to convert battery cell voltage into output voltage exceeding turn-off voltage of electronic device, to convert cell voltage into output voltage lower than rated voltage of battery cell, or to protect electric cell against peak currents. In addition regulator may incorporate bias grounding circuit affording virtual ground so as to enable converter to function at lower voltages across cell.
EFFECT: enhanced service life of battery.
