FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tobacco industry, namely to aerosol delivery devices. An aerosol delivery device contains a power source connected to an electrical load. The power source contains a rechargeable main battery and a rechargeable auxiliary battery in a parallel combination. The rechargeable auxiliary battery has lower nominal voltage than the rechargeable main battery. The aerosol delivery device contains a microprocessor made with the possibility of operating in an active mode, in which the microprocessor is made with the possibility of directing power from the power source containing the rechargeable main battery and the rechargeable auxiliary battery to the electrical load to induce the aerosol delivery device to generate aerosol from an aerosol precursor composition. A control case for the aerosol delivery device is also disclosed.
EFFECT: optimization of power control of the aerosol delivery device.
