FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves setting fractured bone fragments, forming canal through the fracture line and fixing the fracture with biopolymer fixing members. Before introducing the fixing member into the bone channel, one of its ends is sharpened and circular groove is created on the end and the fixing thread is strengthened. The other fixing member end is given flat shape. After introducing fixed member with into the built canal, an additional canal is built under the cortical plate. Recess is built proximally with respect to the fracture line in parallel to it in frontal direction with respect to bone axis at the places of additional canal exits. Then thread ends are conducted above the bone and introduced into the canal built under the cortical plate to meet each other. The threads are drawn and their ends are fixed with biopolymer pins.
EFFECT: increased fixation rigidity.
