In this case, the diameter of the tunnel in the fibula and the outer cortical of the tibia is made 0.2 mm larger than the diameter of the smooth part of the partially threaded cancellous screw used, the length of the partially threaded cancellous screw should be selected so that its threaded part is located in the tibia at a depth not less than 2 cm from its outer cortical layer. The cancellous screw is inserted until its cap touches the bone plate or the fibula while holding the foot in the position of maximum dorsiflexion.
EFFECT: method provides reduction of terms of treatment and rehabilitation of patients due to the peculiarities of the introduction of the spongy screw.
