FIELD: equipment for mechanical processing of fibrous materials.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has detachable casing, movable and immovable disks equipped with concentric slots and ridges and arranged in spaced relation with one another. Immovable disk has central opening. Casing has internal annular cavity communicated with suspension feeding channel and with space between disks. Immovable disk has peripheral closure made in the form of annular cylindrical bead, with diameter of inner surface of said bead being equal to diameter of outer surface of movable disk. Upper edge of central conical slot and closure are raised above intermediate ridges so as to define annular pocket. Peripheral part of movable disk is equipped with annular ridge conforming to shape of annular pocket.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by utilization of flow energy during hydrodynamic action upon fibers distributed in said flow.
