FIELD: railway transport; permanent way.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, current angles of orientation of car body relative to horizon are measured by means of gyroscopic system, and current positions of axle boxes relative to body are measured by means of axle box-body position sensor. Basing on obtained information, current values of cross level and longitudinal gradient are found which are than averaged on car base to get current average values of rail gauge angles. Current values of sag are determined as difference of current values of relative positions of axle boxes of measuring wheelset re-projected to virtual position of body parallel to current average position of rail gauge and current distances of axle box-body calculated with account of orientation of measuring bogie relative to virtual position of body of track measurement car.
EFFECT: provision of one-point method of sag measurement with uniform amplitude-frequency characteristics in bandwidth.
