FIELD: rail track inspection and prediction of its condition.
SUBSTANCE: digital filtering results are used for integrating changes in geographical coordinates and speed of train obtained in processing data arriving from satellite navigation system and channels of navigation and orientation system and odometer. Then refined estimates of odometer error are obtained and its rated step is corrected. Transfer function of digital filter is varied depending on train movement mode in compliance with error model of covered distance transducer.
EFFECT: facilitated correction of transducer whose error is independent of train movement conditions.
