FIELD: building, particularly foundations for large vertical steel reservoirs, preferably built on macroporous grounds.
SUBSTANCE: method involves digging out foundation pit; compacting ground of foundation pit by ramming thereof and arranging ground padding. Base before ramming thereof is divided into a number of ring areas with taking into consideration non-uniformity of flexible reservoir bottom immersion and ramming of above areas is performed in multi-stage manner beginning from central area. At the first ramming stage central area is settled up to level of neighboring area and excessive non-compacted ground is cut off up to above level. At the second stage central area and neighboring ring area are settled up to level of the next area and excessive non-compacted ground is cut off up to this level. Above operations are repeated. At the last stage all areas are rammed simultaneously up to necessary design level with providing desired density of all areas.
EFFECT: possibility of uniform reservoir bottom immersion, increased service life.
