FIELD: wind-power engineering; electrical energy generation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed counter-rotor windwheel-electric generator has tower with swivel base and windward positioning device and bladed windwheels shaft-mounted on base; stator is disposed at bottom position of blades and the latter mount ferromagnetic plates crossing stator air gap; novelty is that low- and high-speed windwheels rotating in opposite directions are mounted on same shaft; high-speed wheel is disposed in front of slow-speed one in downwind direction and is provided with plates oriented against wind; low-speed wheel is provided with plates oriented upwind, and stator is placed between plates of these wheels.
EFFECT: enlarged range of wind velocities for normal operation of windwheel-electric generator.
