FIELD: wind power engineering; electrical energy generation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed counter-rotor windmill generator incorporating provision for using energy of high- and low-potential wind streams has tower mounted on swivel base that carries crosspiece with high-speed windwheels, flexible links connected to rotor, and counter-rotor. The latter is connected to reduction unit whose input shaft is coupled with low-speed windwheel; stabilizing rudders are disposed on crosspiece at sides of low-speed windwheel.
EFFECT: enhanced performance characteristics.
