FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind-power engineering and can be used for electric power production. Proposed windmill comprises tower, turntable, crossbars, stator elements, first and second poles with windwheels and rotor elements. Windwheel blades feature radius larger than that of rotor element. Crossbar accommodating similar stator, similar poles and bladed windwheels with rotor elements are mounted at said turntable on tower opposite side. It differs from known designs in that lower windwheel is arranged behind the stator while upper windwheel is set ahead of stator, that is, on the contrary, relative to opposite pair. Turntable is equipped with tail boom 16 with tail surface 17 to ensure orientation to wind.
EFFECT: higher efficiency owing to larger blade swept area at symmetric load at stators, higher power output.
