FIELD: gas lighters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed igniter that produces spark when rotating spark wheel with opposing flint held at certain pressure has supporting part in the form of axle mounted for rotation in lighter body; spark wheel free to rotate integral with supporting part; flexible part installed about supporting part axis at least on one end of spark wheel; disk switch with front surface of internal area in the form of gear wheel mounted around external periphery of flexible part so that disk switch can operate idle and can be forced to occur in concentric or eccentric position relative to supporting part in response to change in shape of flexible part; disk-shaped coupling part that can rotate integral with supporting part installed inside coupling arrester of disk switch whose disk-shaped coupling part has its external periphery in the form of gear wheel free to engage internal area of front surface in the form of gear wheel around disk switch whose size is smaller than that of front surface of internal area of disk switch in the form of gear wheel when this switch moves to eccentric position; when this is the case, supporting disk switch brought to concentric position relative to supporting part by elastic force of flexible part disengages front surface of internal area in the form of gear wheel from external periphery of disk-shaped coupling part in the form of gear wheel with the result that disk switch occurs in idle mode and changes over to eccentric position in response to deformation of flexible part; in this way spark wheel can be forced to rotate while disk switch internal front surface in the form of gear wheel engages external front surface of disk-shaped part in the form of gear wheel by rotating disk switch. Supporting part has jointing section precisely aligned central bore of spark wheel and secured thereto and axle section whose periphery mounts flexible part and is adjacent and continuous relative to jointing section. Supporting part is made so that on one end it is built integral with coupling part which then passes through spark wheel and disk switch and on its other end it carries coupling part. Flexible part is mounted on external end of coupling part. The latter is built integral with supporting part and flexible part is installed between coupling part and lateral front surface of spark wheel. Coupling part is inserted in concave section whose diameter is larger than that of coupling part formed on side end of disk switch; internal front surface in the form of gear wheel is formed on internal front surface of concave-part peripheral section. Peripheral surface of flexible-part internal area is in contact with supporting part and that of flexible-part external area can be brought in contact with peripheral surface of disk-switch internal area, flexible part being made of elastic material such as rubber or soft polymer. Peripheral surface of flexible-part internal area is in contact with supporting part and that of flexible-part external area can be brought in contact with front surface of disk-switch internal area, flexible part being made of elastic material such as metal or polymer.
EFFECT: simplified design, easy handling, enhanced reliability.
