FIELD: controlled fusion reaction devices known as explosive-liner scheme devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed to conduct thermonuclear fusion reaction in thermonuclear fuel target incorporating hybrid inertial-magnetic plasma holding scheme has power system, at least one thermonuclear fuel target, target injection system, and target storage system; it also has liner in the form of conducting cylinder connected to two electrodes and disposed around target. Novelty is that target injection system has automatic gun made for shell firing or rocket launcher for rocket firing. At least one target with liner is made in shell or rocket. Liner is connected to electrodes. Power system is designed for connection to these electrodes. In addition device has magnetic coil, selector unit, and at least one conductor. One end of this conductor is connected to selector unit and other, to magnetic coil output. Selector unit has set of switches. One switch is designed for connecting magnetic coil to and disconnecting it from liner. In addition at least one switch is designed for connecting conductor to and disconnecting it from liner.
EFFECT: facilitated fuel change procedure and enhanced speed of fuel change.
