SUBSTANCE: proposed snap switch has flexible strip mounting movable electric contact engageable with fixed electric contact, strip being secured through external lug on holder. Internal hold-down lug of strip is disposed between overhanging arms compressed for snapping motion by means of members fastening strip to holder. External lug and part of internal hold-down lug of strip are split by single longitudinal slot, and overhanging arms are compressed by members securing flexible strip to holder.
EFFECT: simplified design of snap switch.
