FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A surgical instrument contains a circuit of drive control, a drive element and a slider. The drive element has the first arm in the first position and the second arm in the second position. The drive has a control unit for control of an instrument switch. The first part of the slider is connected to the drive element in such a way that the slider can move in the direction of the drive element movement when either the first arm or the second arm of the drive element contacts with the first part of the slider. The second part of the slider brings the switch of the drive control circuit in action, when the drive element moves the slider into the first position relative to the first switch.
EFFECT: longitudinal cut of a tissue and installation of rows of staples on both sides of the cut are performed simultaneously.
