FIELD: optical communication systems including atmospheric ones.
SUBSTANCE: proposed optical communication line is characterized in reduced dependence of its energy potential on variations in typical cross-sectional area of optical transmitter radiation beams passed through atmosphere layer which is attained by evaluating impact of atmosphere on cross-sectional area dimensions of radiation beams of optical transmitters and compensating for their impact by varying divergence of these beams.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of communications over proposed optical line.
