FIELD: optical communication systems; atmospheric and space communication lines. SUBSTANCE: divergence of modulated laser emission beam is reduced; laser emission beam divergence in e-2 level from maximal brightness of laser emission is chosen as where K < 1; ab is boundary error in guiding laser emission beam to receiving end of communication line; on receiving end of communication line laser emission is received by array of N spaced optical antennas, where N≥2, disposed in area limited by spatial angle of not over π•ab2 and oriented from sending end to receiving one of communication line. EFFECT: enhanced fraction of laser emission power used in data transmission. 3 cl, 4 dwg
