FIELD: ecology engineering and forestry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing at least one opening in site of growing tree or timber material to be controlled; introducing multiple-channel sensor with connector, to which supersonic instrument may be connected, when necessary. Method may be used for certifying quality of forest plantation, assigning of forest lands for landscape management of territory and for reasoning of clearing cuttings, as well as for logging and primary wood working in the course of certification of round and sawn materials.
EFFECT: increased precision and efficiency in measuring properties of growing tree and timber material during storage by annual layers.
