FIELD: agriculture, in particular, fiber flax selection.
SUBSTANCE: method for evaluation of hybrid fiber flax material by resistance to pasmo (pathogen Septoria linicola (Speg) Gar) involves growing plants in hole or row type selection nursery, with following selection of plants by economically advantageous features; creating in hole or row type nursery infection background by sowing along hole type nursery perimeter or sowing on individual tiers around row type nursery sort of pasmo susceptible fiber flax; upon germination of plants, laying pasmo affected flax straw at the rate of 150-170 g per 10 m of hole type nursery and 300-400 g per 10 running meters of protective tier in row type nursery; providing selection and evaluation of pasmo resistant plants after harvesting by analyzing hybrids with regard to economically advantageous features.
EFFECT: reduced time for studying of selection material at later selection stages and increased effectiveness of selection work with regard to productivity and resistance to pasmo disease pathogen.
