FIELD: self-rescuing equipment used in cases of emergency threatening health or life, in particular, in case of occurrence of fire, emergency situations and other extreme processes in home or industrial premises.

SUBSTANCE: rescue cabinet has casing, shelves for medicinal means and protective devices. Casing is made in the form of sleeve with opening and retainers arranged in lower part of casing. Retainers are positioned at inner and outer side of casing. Retainer arranged at outer side of casing is made in the form of tie-rod, which may be acted upon by remote control. Shelves are made in the form of carcass-set of shelves. Carcass may be moved in vertical plane and fixed in two extreme upper and lower positions. Carcass-set of shelves is provided with surface arranged in its upper part and provided with strip of flexible sealing material attached along perimeter of said surface. Upper part of casing is equipped with perforations provided with sealing plugs.

EFFECT: convenient storage and access, provision for immediate usage in extreme situations and storage of wide range of medicinal means, safety, rescue and evacuation means, and simplified construction of rescue cabinet.
