SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a device for measurement of levels of a liquid is pertinent to the field of automation of engineering processes and may be used to measure levels of a current-conducting liquid in open containers at technological installations of enterprises of ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy and also in other industries. The technical result of the invention is an increased reliability of measurements of current at a break of a current circuit located in an current-conducting liquid and its contacts in the liquid preserving their current-conducting properties. For this purpose the device contains a block of insulated contacts and a collector electrode, a reference voltage controller, a comparator, a meter of a signal of a fluid level. It is also contains a former, an electronic key, RS trigger, a counter with a decoder, a counting input of which is connected to an output of a synchronizing clock, and N outputs of the counter with the decoder are connected to the corresponding N inputs of a peak signal detector the built-in the device. N outputs of the detector are connected to the corresponding N contacts of the block of insulated contacts. The RS trigger output is connected to an input of the meter of a signal of a fluid level and to a control input of the electronic key, the input is connected to a collector electrode, and the output - to the pull-up resistor and to one of inputs of a comparator. Output of the comparator is connected to R-input of the trigger, and S-input of the RS trigger is connected to an output of the signal former, an input of which is connected to the first output of the counter with the decoder.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increased reliability of measurements of current at a break of a current circuit located in an current-conducting liquid and its contacts in the liquid preserving their current-conducting properties.
