FIELD: automation of flotation process; applicable for automatic control over foam layer thickness and pulp level in flotation machine cells at concentrating mills and over parameters of flotation process of nonferrous metal ores. SUBSTANCE: device has resistor bank, bank of contacts insulated from one another, two reference voltage setters, galvanic decoupler and two memory elements, common electrode. Device is provided with comparator unit, the first and second summing amplifiers, control unit, alternating voltage generator, two memory elements, the first, second, third and fourth switches and the third reference voltage setter. Introduction of comparators into device provides for rapid (parallel) method of summation of information signals. Connection of current signals to amplifier summing input, introduction of the first, second, third and fourth switches whose control inputs are connected to introduced control unit and also introduction of the first and second memory elements, and the first and second summing amplifiers and couplings between them provide for higher reliability and device speed of response. Additional introduction into device of the third and fourth summing amplifiers and the fourth setter, and also couplings between them provide additionally for control over foam layer thickness above overflow lip of flotation machine cell. EFFECT: increased safety of control over foam layer thickness and level of pulp in flotation machine cells by eliminating RS-triggers unstable to interferences, increased fast operation and simple design of device. 2 cl, 5 dwg
