FIELD: sheet forming processes and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: die set for drawing body parts includes punch, die with constriction lip and recess for constriction rib arranged in holder. Constriction lip of die is shifted from its drawing edge towards its periphery. Recess for constriction rib is placed between drawing edge and constriction lip and it adjoins to it. Constriction rib is arranged with gap relative to constriction lip. Said gap is equal to thickness of formed material at taking into account positive allowance along sheet thickness.
EFFECT: lowered technological allowance of blank, reduced metal waste.
