FIELD: repairing of metallurgical equipment, rollers of roller table of hot rolling mill.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminary heating up until temperature 200 -300 C; performing multi-layer surfacing by means of steel electrode at rate 10 - 40 m/h and at density of electric current 20 -25 A/sq.mm; using steel electrode with next chemical content, mass. %: carbon, 0.15 - 0.23; manganese, 1.2 - 1.8; silicon, 0.5 -0.9; chrome, 2.0 -3.2; vanadium, 0.08 -0.20; molybdenum, 0.3 - 0.5; iron, the balance. Normalized parameters for repairing rollers provide their high rigidity, thermal strength and wear resistance.
EFFECT: improved quality of repaired rollers.
