FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method includes setting disintegrated mineral composition between the friction surfaces. The composition forms antifriction coating and comprises serpentine Mg3Si2O5(OH)4. Chrysotile, a polymorph modification of serpentine, is used as serpentine. Chrysolite has monocline syngony with coordinate numbers 5.0<a<5.3Ao, 9.0<b<9.2Ao, and 7.0<c<7.3Ao, and angles β between the positive directions of crystallographic axes to be 90o or 93o. The composition is added with forsterite (Mg2SiO4), goethite (FeOH), and hematite (Fe2O3).

EFFECT: enhanced quality of the antifriction covering.
