FIELD: laser measuring means for various fields of science and technology.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system that can be found very useful in metrology, atmosphere physics, ecology, flying vehicle parameter measurements including metering of gas flow velocity, vector of wind speed, wind shear, etc. has laser, monostatic antenna, photodetector lens, photodetector, axial ring shaper, and light-splitting strip; optical axis of photodetector lens is perpendicular to that of monostatic antenna and lies in same plane as optical axes of antenna system, ring shaper, and collimator. Heterodyne radiation of desired power is afforded due to inserting light-splitting strip between ring shaper and antenna system at angle of 45 deg. to their optical axis and to optical axis of collimator, and also due to dimensions and layers of reflecting surfaces of light-splitting strip complying with design values. Essential reduction is attained in common loss (down to 4-5%) of heterodyne radiation and optical system as a whole compared with known optical systems.
