FIELD: joint assembly used in vacuum cleaner between extension pipe and handle for simplifying operations of user of vacuum cleaner.

SUBSTANCE: joint assembly includes connection portion detachably mounted between extension pipe and handle and forming passage for air passing from suction unit to housing of vacuum cleaner. Said connection portion joins extension pipe and handle with possibility of rotation of extension pipe relative to handle in predetermined range. Additional handle extends from outer surface of joint assembly. Connection portion includes first connection tube having in one end first hinge and detachably joined with extension pipe and second connection tube having in one end second hinge and rotatably coupled by its other end with first hinge and detachably joined by its other end with handle. Vacuum cleaner includes housing, unit for suction of dirt from cleaned surface, handle joined with housing of vacuum cleaner, extension pipe connecting handle with suction unit, joint assembly detachably mounted between extension pipe and handle. Joint assembly forms passage for air passing from suction unit to housing of vacuum cleaner and joins extension pipe with handle with possibility of rotation of extension pipe relative to handle in predetermined range.
