FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostic devices for electric rolling stock current collectors in depot or factory. Proposed device has feeler gauge connected with contact plate of current collector and with recording instrument installed on movable carriage. Device is furnished with electric drive with lead screw and analog wear and shift transducers connected through amplitude-digital converter with personal computer. Results of testing of each vehicle at depot inspections are recorded on one and the same diskette.
EFFECT: provision of array of data for subsequent processing on computer to increase accuracy of forecasting of terms of servicing basing on condition of electric rolling stock vehicle.
