SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with recirculation of a dust and slimes formed in process of production and machining of ferrous metals. Recirculation of a dust and a slimes in the process of pig-iron production is carried out using an installation for a melt reducing, which consists of a reducing furnace, a melting furnace-gasificator, a cyclone-separator used for trapping a fine-grained dust within emanating gas from the melting furnace-gasificator, for circulation of a trapped fine-grained dust and for feeding of the emanating gas purified from a fine-grained dust in a reducing furnace as a reduction gas, a dust torch with one its end connected to the cyclone-separator and with other its end connected to the melting furnace-gasificator. The dust torch is intended for realization of melting and blowing of the fine-grained dust in the melting furnace-gasificator. The method includes stages, at which the dust and slimes are collected and dried till their moisture content is at the level of 10 % or less, so that the total composition of Fe, C, CaO and MgO has achieved at least 50 mas. %. Then the dried dust and slimes are graded for production of sizes of particle of 5 mm or less, and blown out in the melting furnace-gasificator through the dust-coal torch. The stage of blowing of the graded out dust and a slimes in the furnace includes admixing of the corresponding amount of ore and coal to the graded out dust and slimes. The invention allows to recirculate a dust and slimes in the capacity of fuel and raw material.
EFFECT: the invention allows to recirculate a dust and slimes in the capacity of fuel and raw material.
