FIELD: production of liquid cast iron with the use of non-caking coal and ore fines without additional processing.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus is adapted for iron-containing wet slime, which is secondary product of process water produced in the process of purification of waste gas in scrubbers during operation of cast iron production system. Apparatus has powder slime preparing unit connected to process water treatment unit and adapted for dehydration, drying and grinding of secondary slime delivered from process water treatment unit for preparing of powder slime; storage unit connected to powder slime preparing unit and adapted for storage of powder slime prepared in powder slime preparing unit; powder slime feeding device, and powder slime channel for repeated blowing of powder slime into final reduction reactor or into preliminary heating reactor or into two powder slime channels for repeated blowing of powder slime into final reduction reactor and into preliminary heating reactor. Apparatus allows slime to be utilized in said system and, accordingly, final amount of outburst slime to be reduced.
EFFECT: reduced cost for processing of slime in cast iron production system and increased yield of cast iron.
