FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has preliminary reduction furnace, melting gasifier, delivery pipeline for supplying waste gas from melting gasifier used as reducing gas into preliminary reduction furnace via cyclone and recirculation pipeline for iron ore fines, which was separated in cyclone. Iron ore fines are supplied through nozzle into melting gasifier. Part of waste gas flowing through cyclone is directed through scrubber provided with Venturi pipes, compressor and compressed gas circulation pipe into delivery pipe. Apparatus is further provided with device for delivery of reduced iron. This device has reduced iron receiving reservoir disposed between preliminary reduction furnace and melting gasifier. Reservoir has pipelines positioned in its lower part and provided with augers for delivery of reduced material into melting gasifier. Preliminarily reduced material is discharged by augers into reservoir to fill it for 80% of its volume. The capacity of auger is equal to total capacity of augers which discharge reduced iron from reservoir into melting gasifier. Apparatus of such construction allows liquid iron to be produced from raw iron ore, with preliminarily reduced product being discharged into melting gasifier without adverse effect upon operating characteristics of preliminary reduction furnace.
