FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: fabric has ribs course made from low-elasticity thread and warp-knitted plain course made from high-elasticity thread knitted-through in conjunction with ribs loops on reverse side of fabric to define, together with ribs loops, doubled loops. Fabric is further provided with additional ribs course of low-elasticity thread and warp-knitted plain course of high-elasticity thread knitted-through, in conjunction with ribs loops, on face side of fabric to define, together with ribs loops, doubled loops. Fabric may comprise additional warp-knitted plain course of high-elasticity thread knitted-through, in conjunction with ribs loops, on face side of fabric to define, together with ribs loops, doubled loops. Fabric may comprise at least one ribs course of low-elasticity thread arranged between loop courses with doubled ribs and warp-knitted plain course loops.
EFFECT: elimination of curling of fabric and, accordingly, simplified sewing of articles manufactured from such a fabric.
