The hepatoprotective agent representing extract prepared from biomass of Maackia amurensis Rupr. et Maxim and obtained by the callus culture method comprises polyphenolic complex consisting of daidzein, retusin, genistein, formononetin, maackianin and medicarpin. The hepatoprotective agent promotes to effective treatment of chronic hepatitis.
