FIELD: production of devices for dry purification of air and gases from particles of a dust.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended for a dry purification of air and gases from particles of a dust including the waste air in the systems of an aspiration of grain cleaners, and also for creation of an additional air stream in pneumatic systems of grain cleaners, aggregates and complexes of postharvest treatment of grains. The cross-flow rotary dust trap contains: a body; an installed in it twirled rotor made in the form of a wheel with flat blades forming channels for movement of air and supplied on the lateral sides with solid disks; an inlet and outlet branch-pipes mounted on the body opposite to each other and conjugated through channels of the rotor; a dust pocket. The flat blades of the rotor are made with a dog-leg longwise and an angle of installation of the blades on the internal diameter of the of rotor is β=90° ± 5°. Due to that it ensures a continuous traffic of an air stream running through a passage of the rotor, reduced pressure losses, increased the aerodynamic efficiency of the dust trap at preservation of a dust-catching efficiency.
