FIELD: mechanical engineering; ventilators and fans.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in ventilation and heating systems and pneumatic system of grain cleaning machines. Proposed cross-flow fan has housing with inlet and outlet holes and impeller fitted in housing. Holes are separated by flat wall provided with louvers from side of impeller. Louver slats are tilted at different angles relative to flat wall. First slat from side of impeller is directed in parallel with tangential line drawn to outer surface of impeller through point on intersection with flat wall. Other slats are installed at gradually increasing angle, and last slat is fitted at largest angle.
EFFECT: increased pressure and efficiency of fan.
