FIELD: driving mechanisms.
SUBSTANCE: driving mechanism installed on a drum for turning over the sheet rear edge from the preceding cylinder of the sheet rotary press with a subsequent transfer of this rear edge to the drum gripping system for turning over the sheets. The driving mechanism first provides for displacement of the vacuum suction cup along the periphery of the preceding cylinder up to a reliable gripping of the rear edge of the sheet by this vacuum suction cup. Then, removal of the rear edge of the sheet suction cup. Then, removal of the rear edge of the sheet is accomplished at a permanent retention of it in the tangential plane to the side surface of the preceding cylinder, under the drum periphery for turning over the sheets. Then a tension, and then a bend (swelling) of the sheet along the tangent line to the cylinder occur, after that the sheet rear edge without any tensile stresses is transferred to the drum gripping system for turning over the sheets. The driving mechanism has three kinematically linked driving systems controlled with the aid of cams.
EFFECT: prevented spontaneous separation of the sheet from the suction cup.
