FIELD: printing arts. SUBSTANCE: sheet rotary press 2 has sheet turnover mechanism 1 with vacuum suction cup 6 that is made rotary and which at printing on the tight and reverse sides extends from under outside wall 8 of subsequent sheet- carrying cylinder 4, catches sheet 14 being turned over by rear edge 10, and after drawing back to outside wall 8 of cylinder 4 it transfers this sheet to the next gripping device 16. The rollers or sliding surfaces provided on the vacuum suction cup are engageable with the respective inclined bearing surfaces of subsequent sheet-carrying cylinder 4, they ensure superpositioning on essentially radial reverse motion of vacuum suction cup 6 on its motion in the axial direction, due to it, before the transfer of rear edge 10 to gripping device 16 sheet 14 gets stretched in the axial direction.
