SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an unloading system and a method for unloading a transport trolley for tire protectors, the transport trolley for tire treads comprising a plurality of plates. Each plate is configured to provide support for at least one tire protector. Unloading system comprises an arm with a retention device for capturing and retaining the treads. Hand is provided with a lifting device which is movable together with a hand for lifting one of the plates. Control system is configured to control the drive system to position the arm in the initial position, in which the lifting device extends at least partially below said one plate, and for the subsequent movement of the arm upward such that the lifting device will move towards the raised position, thereby lifting said one plate from the closed position towards the open position.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the productivity of the device when unloading the transport trolley for tire protectors.
