FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has cylindrical round housing, working spaces, piston and shaft installed on bearings inside housing. Cylinder is rigidly secured on shaft, and hollow piston is arranged coaxially to cylinder. Holding movable joint installed in upper part of piston is made in form of single ball bearings so that half of diameter of bearings is located in conical sockets of fixed stoppers made in housing, and half of diameter, in guide grooves made on outer surface of piston parallel to its axis. Working movable joint placed between cylinder and piston is made in form of single ball bearings. Half of diameter of said bearings is arranged in conical sockets of fixed stoppers located in piston, and half of diameter, in guide grooves made on surface of cylinder in form of one or several parallel closed curves. Exhaust holes are made in housing, and intake valves are located in its end faces. Flywheel is mounted on engine shaft.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased efficiency owing to design peculiarities providing conversion of reciprocation of piston into rotation of shaft.
