FIELD: mechanical; road and water transport; skiing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile reaction engines operating on leaned mixtures of air and fuel, with gasoline of any octane rating, diesel, fuel, oil, mixture of oil and gasoline or gas used as fuel for such engines. Invention describes impulse-type reaction engine. According to invention, engine contains cylinders with pistons connected by connecting rods with main shaft, combustion chambers separated from cylinders, and main turbine installed on main shaft with possibility of connection with transmission of automobile. Cylinders with pistons play part of charger of fresh charge into combustion chambers. Preparation of fuel for combustion and combustion of fuel takes place ion combustion chambers at constant volume irrespective of position of piston in cylinders. Exhaust gas flow reverser is installed between combustion chambers and blades of main turbine. Reverser provides direction of gas flows getting out combustion chambers to main turbine or to reaction nozzles, thus providing either movement of automobile owing to connection of main turbine with transmission of automobile and/or reaction thrust through nozzles, or braking of automobile when reverser connects combustion chambers with corresponding nozzles directed opposite to direction of automobile running.
EFFECT: provision of ecologically clean engine.
