Abstract RU 2244879 C1

FIELD: heating and cocking units; heating of temporary rooms.

SUBSTANCE: proposed heating and cooking unit has low fire hazard due to use of liquid allowed by state standard; unit may work both on liquid and solid fuels. Heating and cooking unit has cylindrical housing with sump fuel tank fitted with burner, air intake and smoke stack; fuel tank is mounted in housing at clearance forming air supply passage and is provided with wick with adjusting mechanism; air supply passage is fitted with gate valve; housing has leg with holes for securing it to floor. Housing is provided with detachable cover which has hole closed by damper when necessary; housing is also provided with grate for placing the cooking utensils; smoke stack is secured on detachable cover and fire grate is mounted in lower portion of housing; solid fuel loading port is cut between grate and cover and is provided with door having locking mechanism; port for removal of ash is provided between grate and bottom of housing; this port performs function of air intake when unit works on liquid fuel; this port has door which may be locked in intermediate position between fully open position and fully closed position, thus performing function of gate valve adjusting delivery of air inside housing. Housing has several holes between its lower edge and sump bottom which are used for circulation of bottom cooling air. Diameter of cylindrical fuel tank is lesser than inner diameter of housing. Fuel tank is mounted on fire grate. Burner is secured on upper end face of fuel tank. Burner is made in form of slotted hole with wick sleeve secured over its perimeter; wick length adjusting mechanism adjoins the sleeve; handle of this mechanism is located on side of solid fuel loading port; tube coiled in form of flat spiral is located above wick; one end of this tube is turned vertically and is provided with injector and second end is brought outside through pipe union fitted with union nut secured in housing and is connected via needle valve and T-piece with supply tank located above fuel tank; it is provided with legs having holes for securing it to floor. Supply tank is connected via said T-piece with fuel tank through float-type level regulator located inside fuel tank.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
