FIELD: heating and cooking units for temporary rooms.

SUBSTANCE: proposed heating and cooking unit presents low danger of fire due to use of liquid fuel allowed for use by state standard. Unit may also work on solid fuel. Heating and cooking unit includes cylindrical housing with sump and fuel tank having burner, air intake and smoke stack. Fuel tank is mounted in housing at clearance forming air supply passage; fuel tank is provided with wick with adjusting mechanism; air supply passage is provided gate valve and housing is provided with legs having holes for securing it to floor. Housing has detachable cover with hole which is closed with damper when it is necessary and grate for cooking utensils. Smoke stack is secured on detachable cover and fire grate is mounted inside housing; port for loading solid fuel is provided between grate and cover and is fitted with door having locking mechanism. Port for removal of ash is provided between grate and bottom; this port is used as air intake when unit works on liquid fuel; this port is also provided with door which may be locked in any position between fully open position and fully closed position, thus performing function of gate valve adjusting the air supply. Surface of housing between its lower edge and bottom of sump has several holes for circulation of bottom cooling air. Diameter of cylindrical fuel tank is lesser inner diameter of housing. Located on upper end face of fuel tank is burner made in form of slotted holes with wick sleeves secured over their perimeters. Wick adjusting mechanisms have handles located on side of solid fuel loading port; fuel filling opening is provided on upper end face of fuel tank and is closed with screw cap fitted with sealing washer.
