FIELD: detonators.
SUBSTANCE: electronic detonator (1) has an igniting charge, battery (19) for feeding the igniting current for ignition of the igniting charge and an electronic circuit (4) for control of the feed of the igniting current. The battery (19) is installed for displacement in the detonator from the state of rest to the activated position, in which the battery gets connected for supply of the ignition current. Provision is made for means (25,28) for activation of the battery in response to an external action, for pyrotechnical compulsion of the battery (19) to displacement of the state of rest to the activated position.
EFFECT: reduced risk of uncontrolled initiation of the detonator.
